Tea Cosy Swap

TEA COSY SWAP

Thought I would post up my answers here for my swapper.  On reading the answers I posted I sound somewhat rude - many apologies - I just ask that should you choose to send yarn - please send NO purple yarn.  It’s a weird thing but with every swap I am asked questions about yarn colour and I always say no Purple, yet always end up with purple.  Funny that.

There’s a shot - I am thinking it’s about 35cm in diameter!

Questionnaire:

  1. Do you have a teapot or coffee plunger? Would you like a cosy for it? If so, please tell us the dimensions of your pot. - A Teapot cosy please! My tea pot is a little one - a teapot for two…
  2. Other than a cosy, what other knitted/crocheted kitchen items would you like? - don’t mind - always up for those kitschy yet practical handtowel with the crocheted tag/button to dry my hands on.
  3. Theme/Style: Do you celebrate Christmas/Hanukkah/Yule/whatever? Would you like your pal to knit you something in that theme? Um, no thanks…
  4. What colour is your kitchen? Do you like tacky kitsch, classic styles, or something more modern? Mine is white with sky/aqua blue - love retro/old fashioned stuff.
  5. What is your favourite blend of tea (or coffee)? Are you a sophisticated Earl Grey drinker, a hippy-dippy Chai lover, or a no-nonsense espresso addict? I’m a GOOD coffee drinker (ie no instant for me) and love a good strong Tea Blend - leaves if possible. (eek - sounds weird -I just love real coffee - not instant)
  6. What’s your favourite type of bikkie? Hands down - shortbread.
  7. Any weird food allergies or preferences your pal should know about? Nope’m
  8. Any weird fiber allergies or preferences your pal should know about? NO MOHAIR OR ANYTHING PURPLE FANKS
  9. What city/state do you live in? Wollongong, NSW
