poor sausage! hope you get a chance to relax soon.
Blaise is a perfectly well adjusted child - but at 11 still needed 6 adults to hold her down and Mummy holding her hand when boods were needed (and they were needed frequently), she is 17 now and takes herself to the GP for vaccinations and blood tests...so I am sure that all will be well with Kaela - no long term phobias.
You are a great Mum!

Ah yes, a Mother's place is in the wrong. - Never mind that you are doing a fab job of looking out for your kid.

It currently takes 5 adults to take one vial of blood from Adam, but it works and he's happy with it - they'll gradually wean him down when he's ready for it.

Oh the poor little blossom. I hope she's feeling better now. Good news about her eyes and speech though: all the hassles were worth it to get such a good result!!! You were very dedicated to getting these problems sorted out, I am ever so confident you can conquer the blood test thing too!!! Hope the rest of the week is calm and happy!! (6am??? truly that is far too early)
