Or something like that.
Today I organized my yarn stash. I know. Hold me back. I lead a racy life.
That’s not all I did.
Yesterday
I worked.
I went to a 40th reunion of my Preschool (I am still getting over going to a 40th reunion of ANYTHING – regardless of the fact that I was only 2 at the time).
I did mindless drivelling things including trips to video shops, etc etc etc.
I DID however knit some more Kyoto.
Looky!

I knit the sash – and continued with the back – instead of knitting it separately. I plan on doing the back and fronts all together but am wondering if I really need shoulder shaping. It’s a fairly boxy pattern so I am wondering if I can get away without doing shoulder shaping. (Any suggestions will be lovely).
Today
I walked for an hour at a very fast pace. Day 1. Am feeling tres ‘appy with myself.
Did above mentioned organisation and discovered mucho yarno. Didn’t stop me from trolling yarn sites and people’s stashes on Rav. (Does anyone else do that? Look at other’s stashes and see what they have and then look at the Rav stashes to see if anyone wants to see what you covet? – Sad isn’t it).
Entertained Hamish’s friend Olly for a little while, moved washing machines around, went to a T-ball presentation.
Have come home – rather hungry (daylight savings ended yesterday so we are hungry at kiddy time of 4.30pm which is, of course, now 5.30pm). Hmmmmmm.
Am awaiting the start of Bloody-ators (Hamish’s words – not mine – he misheard. I corrected him). He meant Gladiators. Sadly I do remember the first version. And ‘It’s a knock out’. Maybe I shouldn’t worry about a 40th reunion – I’m just an old fart.
Then So you think you Can Dance.
Then Grey’s
Mucho knitting will evenuate no doubt.
See. Racy lifestyle. Told you.

Oh my goodness, a pre-school reunion!! Yikes, must be quite amazing though. I love the colours you are knitting with, beautiful.
Ok that mean I am old too cause I remember those shows aswell.
Isnt it funny how the kids think Gladiators is a NEW thing.
I envy you got time to knit this weekend….
I remember! and I remember watching Dr Who in 1964 when I had measles (THAT’S OLD)
I think playing in stash is exciting (I just reorganised my patterns) and yesterday I walked – and know I’m reading blogs – what’s not exciting?
I will join Georgie in the nostalgic sigh for It’s a Knockout. And original Bloody-ators (love that name!!). Does looking at houses and doing 2 loads of washing trump your weekend? I don’t think so!
You’ve certainly set the bar high, no doubt about it. I too remember Its a Knockout (compulsory Sunday evening viewing) – my fave was the game where they dressed as penguins and had to fill buckets with water while standing on a turning platform. *nostaligic sigh*
I remember it’s a knock out – I don’t think remembering that stuff makes you old… in fact, just the opposite. Imagine if you had old-timers (our word for altzeimers) and couldn’t remember those crazy shows from the 80s… then you should feel old…
I watched greys.. and brothers and sisters – sarah was knitting while her brother went through his detox… how talented is Rachel Griffiths – she can knit (well, hold knitting needles) and act at the same time.
Wow..how will all us mortals keep up?
Pre-school Reunion??!! I’m thinking macaroni threading and an afternoon nap!!! Kyoto is looking very intriguing!!
I remember It’s a KnockOut too. Perhaps you could play your Joker now!! I can still hum the Glad(Blood)iators music/tune thing!!
Excellent walking!! Did you enjoy getting the hour back?? Did you get the hour back?? I woke up EARLY. Damn!!
You know, you and I …we simply cannot keep going at this ridiculous pace. All the excitement is just tooooo much. Too much I say.
Pre-school reuinion? Who remembers that far back? Wicked!
I’m planning a seaming party tonight – you are welcome to come!
The most exciting thing I did this weekend was take my car through the laser carwash in Belconnen.
So yes, you do lead a racy life!
