Like Last Night.

Didn’t feel like knitting
Just felt like spinning
I finished up the skein that I had shown earlier so now I will have to think of a project for it – I am thinking it will be woven again. Not sure.

Then I decided to update my Etsy store with a few skeins of handspun Alpaca and Silk. Yum.

And then I decided to spin up some corridale and mohair that I had blended and sold previously. I dyed the mohair locks in a flaming red and blended it with pistachio and eggplant hues – but thick and thin slub. It’s called Urban Grind.

And last but not least. Some of Mandie’s yummy fiber club offerings became a bit fat skein of singles plied with some more of my cones of thin stuff. I am really pleased with all the results.

Spinning is such a relaxing way to spend an hour or two or three. I love the creativity of it – where I looked at a bunch of fibre and wonder what it will become.

3 Examples of singles plied, singles, and navajo plied. YUM. The top two will be ready to be showcased via Etsy this evening.

i am in awe. of your spinning, your weaving and creativity in general!
Gawd that is just stunning! Really truly.
I just love it. What a difference seeing the yarn knitted up.
While cleaning out the storage, I came across my first spinnings. Spindle spun. And now I see all your luscious spinnings. Such an inspiration. Wonderful and delicious color combinations, and great photos, too! Thanks!
Because now Im going to be able to concentrate on work and not think about knitting or spinning. Thanks for that!
Even though theyre not “my” colours, I love the Urban Grind the bestest. Stunning.
I love the purples/pinks/blues- so pretty! You’re so great at spinning, I hope someday I can have this kind of talent with it! Great job!
oh, my, oh, I just love it ALL. Couldn’t pick just one!
love the combo of red, pistachio and egglant – definitely yum!!
