It’s been a HUUUUUUUUUUUUge week for us here – to recap
Last weekend was spent Washing a bazillions loads of camping clothes, nursing a small hangover, catching up with some cool chicks for a public knitting fest/morning tea/lunch, missing out on good company at SnB (sniff – I’ll hopefully get there in February though), doing the Australia Day thing with some friends and generally getting ready for the week to come.
Monday was a public holiday – kids had friends over, or went to friends’ houses.
Tuesday was our “official” last day of school holidays – Movies (The Water Horse) were watched, YuckDonalds eaten…
Wednesday Kaela skipped off to school to be allocated into a lovely class with the before-mentioned teacher that speaks with a quiet voice….Yay!
Thursday – Hamish’s first day – he loved it and was so happy to see me in the afternoon – I held up better than I thought – because really, how could I not. He was so happy. I went off to work – oh the drudgery of life! Sigh. With a sun blister/cold sore the size of Mt Rushmore! WONDERFUL.
Friday dawned and Hamish thought he might not go to school – he thought he would have a few days off….heh heh.
And suddenly the week has gone.
I did manage to
