Guess what is happening tomorrow?

30 01 2008

Here’s a small hint.

Wahhhhh.

Tea and Tissues are “being served” at 9.05am. A normal get-together of Mothers and Fathers that bring morning tea along for those Mothers and Fathers dropping their kids off to Kindy on the first day.

I remember dropping Kaela off and being incapable of muttering a “hi” “bye” to the T & T people before dissolving into a flood of tears.

I am sure tomorrow will be the same.

When did my “baby” grow up? I should add that he is so READY. And SO excited!

Anyways. Booking for 1. Tomorrow, At 9.06am thanks.

Yes please.

Hmmm I havent decided yet whether to slip home from school and pick my 4 school boys up and return to school or wait at the front of school and watch them walk down the hill…I may leave work a bit earlier Monday and have an hour kid and hubby free at home for the first time in 6 weeks……

Well, the Senior Grand-daughter has just started High School, and I still do not know HOW that happened.

The Senior Grand-son has moved from the Infants Department to the Primary School.

And then there will be a pause to catch our breath, because Junior Grand-son is only 2-and-a-bit, and Junior Grand-daughter is 10 months.

Good luck to all ‘new kids’ and their parents !!

Letting go is always hard. Especially if they are more ready for it than you. Look at it this way – Every new milestone in his life is evidence that you are doing a fabulous job as a parent.

Grrr, comment eaten….

Im sure he will make you super proud as well as sad. You should get a facial or something nice and indulgent (a facila might help the puffy crying-eyes!!) and you’ll be picking him up before you know it.

You will be fine, and before you know it, it will be time to go and pick him up. Just think of all that time now for extra activities for you during school times. Enjoy.

I hope he’s going to wear the muscly spidey suit! It’ll look tops with the hat and shoes!!

You’ll be ok…after the T&T think about all that uninterrupted knitting time stretching ahead of you…

I actually can’t remember my first day of school – not sure if that is a good or a bad thing!
