Evolution of yum…

Focus, my lovelies, on that Optim on the right….from Mandie’s Ewe Give me the Knits. (Love that name). It starts as that.

Some of it gets dyed like this.

Then this

Then this

And ends up (for the moment) like this

What will it become?

I am so enjoying the dyeing process I am in at the moment – coupled with the spinning obsession I have at the moment too.

1. drunken bees, 2. dyed by me, 3. drunken bees, 4. trellis

I have lots of other lovely exciting news to share with you…will do so this week.

I had trouble getting the Optim to to take up the dye even though I soaked it for some time in plain water,it refused to absorb so I had to massage it in with the risk of felting! Pray gives us a hint ,pretty please?
