Want to come on a little blog trip with me? I was going to leave this photo-less and see what you thought when you clicked on the links – but I hate photo-less posts*.

If so you should first go and have a look at Tea And Cakes – she just got her Knitters Treat Exchange Parcel and got some lovely little pressies.

As is usually the way with me, when someone gets a nice little parcel and mentions the person that sent it I click on that person.

So that lead me to La, La, La and her amazing stitch markers – are they not the cutest things?

I know we all have a bazillion stitch markers but these are so nicely made. And I love the custom made Tea Cup for her swap buddy.

Melissa (at La, La, La) mentioned the Whole Nine Yards – so I popped in for a bit of a drool – just clicked on the home page and let the slideshow transport me into a shop that I would love to own (what do you think Ailsa?)….why can’t we have LYS’s that display yarn like that? Check out the calendar!

Somehow I wandered over to Knit Me and drooled over the Rainbow scarf out of her handspun….I am intrigued about that.

Must ask about the spinning process (Did she just draft out the roving and spin away? Did the colour naturally repeat or did she split the roving in two and then ply when finished to get that wonderful graduation?). Makes me love spinning all the more.

Through Good Yarn Karma this morning I was alerted to this blog – Domestic Overlord! Love the name….and was intrigued by a button on her site
q
TOTALLY CRAZY SITE - I love it! No serious knitting to be found here. So refreshing to see something totally kooky.

And Lastly – a new type of KAL – one that I feel up to the challenge of….as I have been playing around with the idea. Are the buttons not, sigh, stunning? SPUN STITCHES – I’m on my way.

* – I hope the bloggers of these images don’t mind me sharing – I saved them on flickr privately – no hotlinking here. I guess it’s a matter of bolting the gate after the horse has bolted but am happy to take them off if there is a problem.

So what do you think? Do you have any great sites to share? Or make your own trip and let me know.
