A plan hatched.
GOOD YARN KARMA is up.
Jae, Nora and I have been ruminating over this for a little while since I suggested it and a few of you said you were interested.
We have been pondering over wording, so that no-one gets anything wrong. We have pondered over how to stop people being yarn hogs. We have pondered over headers and buttons etc etc.
But most of all we have pondered over pushing the publish button and unleashing wonderful Yarn Karma to Blogland.
Can you help?
Please contact us to list something but even simpler, if you think it has merit maybe you could mention it on your blog and we can get the party started.
The premise is simple. Check your stash. You might have something that you know you won’t use. It may have been gifted to you with the best of intentions but it’s just not “you”.
If you want to donate – contact us for an invite to post on the blog. If you want us to post it if for you so that your Gifter won’t be offended if they stumble on the blog, let us know.
Someone somewhere will love it.
They will contact us and emails will be exchanged.
Postage will be sorted.
And just like that, Good Yarn Karma will be dispensed. Nice huh?

I love Karma!! Excellent idea!!!Well done!!!
I’m sorry for being very thick-headed tonight but I see your using the word swap in your description on the Good Yarn Karma site. So can you do a traditional swap where you have something a person wants and the other person has something you want and you swap yarn or is it just “I want to get rid of this yarn and all I need in exchange is postage” or is it both? Either way I think it’s a good idea and will be happy to participate. Love your new look!
I think this is a great idea! I may have to go through my stash later.
Yep – swaps are all good too – just be clear in what you want to swap and what you want to receive.
I think it’s brilliant! I’ve been over for a visit and keep telling myself I need to ADD to the posts, not help remove them LOL!
Lovely idea, congratulations!
Great – looking through my stash today!
Needless to say, I love this!! Congratulations on such a lovely idea.
