New Year! New Blog!

I felt like a change and love a new challenge so working out WordPress will be something to keep the mind ticking over.  Glad you could join me.

I am still trying to work out how to import all the old stuff and bring in new stuff so bear with me.

Sadly – I have no photos to share as since the move I can’t find my camera battery recharger….along with the drill kit (needed for all those “fix-up” jobs) , Kaela’s baby Blanket (sentimental value gentle reader), and various other important things.  We are still trying to get used to being at the house – especially at night as it is much quieter (and darker) than the old place.  I guess that will take time.

I have been knitting away on my Donyale’s Fixation socks – I started them on the 1st Jan.  I kept looking at my WIP’s and wasn’t feeling the love immediately….(in fact I haven’t found my groove at the new House yet – haven’t found my Knitting Spot – the place I want to go to and knit) and decided to give the fixation another go.  For all the sock yarn I have, the singular most comfortable socks I own that are the best fit and the hardiest, it’s the fixation socks I knitted last year.  The added bonus is of course that they knit up quick on thicker needles so it’s a real win win situation.

The Tiffany gloves  are coming along nicely too – love the challenge of colourwork and getting that dratted tension just right.  Lots of practice needed there.

Anyways.  Will leave this at that.

PS Edited to add – I am sorry – don’t know how to change the comments thingey to let anyone comment (not just those with word press accounts) – am looking into it!

EDITED AGAIN – sorted it out with the Help of Word Press support and Miss Fitknit! Thanks Fiona
